In a stunning rebuke of people of Hispanic decent, aid to President Trump are reporting that President Trump has had a cabinet meeting in which cabinet members discussed various ways to "turn off the magnets" for illegal aliens.
In addition to building a wall, enforcing current immigration law, and introducing employer E-Verify restrictions, the President's cabinet reportedly believes that outlawing Spanish would dissuade potential illegal aliens from crossing the border.
Currently, illegal immigration is dominated by Latin countries coming from the southern border. As the thinking goes, if Spanish were outlawed, it would be much more difficult for immigrants from these locations to freely move about the United States.
We've reach out to cabinet aids to find out what, if any, penalties there might be for uttering Spanish words, however, those penalties have not been settled, and further, the outlawing of Spanish is currently considered, "something we're considering" rather than an imminent change in policy.
Several Republican lawmakers have encouraged the ban on Spanish, and even some Democrats in red states who are up for re-election have called the move, "something we would have to consider."
